BLUSH COAT PARADISE

Blush is easily my favorite coat color this season! There is something so refreshing and lovely about the subtle yet bold statement, blush colored coats make every time you catch a glimpse of  them. I had done a post in November on big coats and suggested Pink as a go to color and that rings truest with blush shades. . I am currently searching for the perfect blush coat myself so do let me know if you find any gorgeous ones....xxx

DIFFERENT SHADES OF NIGHT

 Hello everyone! I hope you've all been having a pleasant weekend? Pardon the infrequent posts, it's project month! so it's been incredibly intense and busy. I pulled out some pictures from last years archives that were never posted. I had gone out to dinner with a girlfriend and we were trying out our nighttime photography skills (something I'm usually wary of). As most of you who've tried before at night know, it's much trickier because of the absence of natural lighting. Overall it wasn't the worst possible thing but we did end up with different shades of pictures as a result of the variations in with light settings.

PLAYING WITH WHITE INTERIORS

There is a certain elegance and sophistication to white, one that is particularly evident in interior decoration. White is a great canvas on which to mix colors and styles; be they contemporary or traditional. It often exudes a fresh and chic feel and creates an illusion of  a wider, freer space. It's easy to work with and never interferes, regardless of your choice of color, furniture and ornaments.

I'm usually not a fan of head gear on myself, which is why the beanie in these pictures happens to belong to C. Don't get me wrong, I understand their appeal and I absolutely love them on other people most of the time but I tend to feel a little outside my style zone wearing head gear. Today happened to be the exception and after spending 5 mins eyeing C's beanie as it hung on his wall, I threw it on the second he stepped out, brushed my hair with my fingers and composed myself like I hadn't moved an inch. He stepped back in, less than 3 mins later, gave me  a once over, rolled his eyes in that knowing way and expressed his attachment to his beanie and his fav denim shirt, I had decided to layer my outfit with. In my defense the weather had gotten cooler and he did admit that I looked better in his denim shirt than he did.  Plus, what fun would a visit to C's b if I'm not raiding his closet!

CLICKED : DECEMBER STREET STYLE

Happy New Year Everyone! It's nice to finally be posting again after a 2 weeks plus break. There's just no better way for me to Kick off the New Year than to celebrate fashion and street style from the last month of 2013, as we look ahead and prep for a new fashion season and Year.  One thing I did discover about myself  last month/year is that my photography skills are fairly horrid. So I do apologize if your picture happens to not be up, it just means they were either too blurry or not visible altogether .
