Good evening everyone. We're almost at the end of the New York Fashion Week and I've been enjoying monitoring the shows and potential trends off the catwalk. While it may be a tad early to give a complete trend report,so far a couple recurrent themes are looking to emerge as SS15 trends. From Monique Lhuillier to Daine Von Furstenberg and Zimmerman, there's no shortage of an ultra feminine, flirty and in the case of Zimmerman almost whimsical aesthetic. Alexander Wang has our attention as always with his signature sporty pieces in a range of colours and styles, from frocks to chic jersey pants. The Zimmerman girls in addition to the flirty and whimsical inspiration, showcased some beautiful metallic tailored pieces. Victoria Beckham joined in on some tailored action, showcasing a range of feminine tailoring on the catwalk earlier today, making certain that tailored pieces make a big comeback this fashion season be they in greys and Reds or Zimmerman styled metallics. Powdery and baby blue pastels along with co-ord sets also appear to be making a re-appearance for yet another fashion season.
