There are just those days where all you really want to have for lunch is a delicious slice of pizza, days were nothing but the really simple things will do. Those moments when you crave the much simpler and busy ambiance of a restaurant like Pizza Express ,where you can just lay back and enjoy what feels like a little slice of a simple yet beautiful Italy. This was my train of thoughts as I sat across the table at Pizza Express in King's Cross with Adim, catching up and laughing over pizza, while enjoying the ocassional banter with the really cool and funny chefs in the open plan kitchen right next to our table. The calm and simplicity of the moment, amidst all the bustling just reminded me that the simple things, are all we really need sometimes!
I feel like that's what weekends are for. Stayng in catching up on reading and eating all your comfort foods - like pizza. Yum!
