PREPPY, 5 FT 3 AND ECSTATIC

Hello everyone... i was supposed to put these pictures up on Friday but I was unable to lay my hands on them until today so here goes. It was freezing on Friday but for some very odd reason, i was feeling super perky, i'm guessing it had something to do with not having to go into uni for 2 days.  However as we all know the joys of the weekend are usually short-lived (Depressing stuff, i know!).  Somehow my perkiness translated into a preppy look. Off late I've been experimenting with hues of green and this was kind of the safe bit of the experiment..... Hopefully i get to share a  more extreme version with all of you soon enough.

Here's wishing you all a very exciting and super fast week... unless you happen to be having the time of your life....... in which case i loathe you. xxx

Out and About

Out and About
I put this outfit together, with a warm evening out and about town in mind. Manhattan to be quite specific However this outfit is obviously not geographically limited or exclusive if you will. Its just one of those outfits that makes me picture going shopping, getting a froYo and macarons then going out to dinner. Seeing as i have a back Log of assignments and i'm all the way across the pond, sooo not going to happen anytime soon.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day! x

WINTER NEUTRALS

Hi there everyone!  I took these pictures  last week Friday . It was a very casual and laid back day and it was all about winter neutrals, so i threw on  a snug fitting pair of faded grey jeans, a black  jumper and paired  this jeans and jumper with these black wedged ankle Zara boots that i hadn't yet put to use. It was pretty chilly outside, plus my jumper was v-necked, so i wrapped this lovely till blue and gold floral patterned scarf, i took  off my friend, which she purchased on the streets of London . The scarf blended nicely with my outfit and was a nice variation from all the winter neutrals and a reminder of sorts that spring is just around the corner (hopefully). Oh and its also a new addition to my closet. [yes, meaning i have no intention of giving it back]. :p

Thank you all for reading and have a lovely weekend! :)

En Route..........

En Route..........
This is an outfit i put together and the theme was a weekend getaway. Ideally when travelling, the goal for me is to look stylish but still casual enough to jet off to any location without looking overdressed. I love leather pants because of its multipurpose nature.Whether you are dressing up or dressing down for a dinner date, just a regular day out with some friends or travelling, leather pants are reliable (unless you're in a hot climate of course) and  they always glam up  outfits.  The Celine top is a beautiful blend of dark colors and fabrics, it is very chic yet subtle.  It's no wonder high tops are very on trend, they have the dual function of being super comfy and very fashion forward.  These Isabel Marant high tops bring the right balance of street style and comfort to this 'weekend getaway' getup which is a necessity when travelling. As far as utility and style go, it doesn't get much better than this channel black caviar drawstring bucket shoulder bag.

Thank you very much  for reading and have a wonderful evening.

FAUX FUR & SOMETHING FROM THE 30'S

Hello everyone. So this is my first post  and  I've been putting it off for quite sometime, under the guise of being busy but if i'm being honest I've just been a tad nervous about it.  This was the outfit i donned for a girlfriends birthday last week in London. With the exception of two guys, it was pretty much a girls night out so i decided to have a little bit of fun with my outfit. I especially loved the gloves because they were reminiscent of the 30's and  while my style isn't necessarily vintage, i do enjoy wearing vintage inspired outfits. My  hairdo was accidentally 50's inspired (meaning i didn't have the first clue what to do with it, with 30 mins left but then my genius of a friend (Sandra) and I came up with this). The Grey fur coat was a dramatic touch to my otherwise demure outfit and the shoes...... its  pretty hard to go wrong with red court shoes.

Goofing around with my fur comrade (with Natty rose).

special thanks to my darling Jennifer for suffering through all the picture taking xxx

Thank you all for reading and have a wonderful Sunday
