Good evening everyone! I hope you've all had a pleasant weekend? Some of you might remember when I shared the post on blush colored coats that I mentioned that I was searching for the perfect one. Finally after a daunting month-long search, I finally found this baby. 2 days after I dicovered it, I went back to purchase it and it was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until a couple weeks later that I saw Aimee song style this coat in one of her posts, and nearly died from envy, that I went back looking for it again and found it. What I love about this outfit is that it's such a bold risk and one I'm glad i took. Mixing certain prints and pattern is not always a great idea, which was why I tried to balance out the chaos with neutrals (White and Black). So remember whenever you try to mix very ecclectic pieces to use neutrals to hold these pieces together and keep the focus on the statement pieces. Adding neutrals not only allows you to blend incredibly different prints and patterns together, It allows room to throw in more colours like i did with my lipstick and nailpolish in a way that compliments and doesn't detract from the outfit.
Thank you all for stopping by...xxx
