LONDON THEN MILAN - PATTERNS AND PRINTS FALL 2014

Good evening everyone. As some of you know the Milan Fall 2014 Fashion week just came to an end and seeing as I failed to blog about the London fashion week earlier,I decided to merge both shows. Going through the London and Milan catwalks, I found quite a number of re-occuring trends and patterns and prints were easily 2 of the most re-occurent trends. From Roksanda Illincic to MSGM, designers were exploring a variety of patterns and prints from abstract patterns,to animal and mosaic prints, without wavering and compromising their respective asthethics. Mary Katrantzou was one of my favourite shows from the London catwalk, and as brilliant as she usually is, she somehow managed to outdo herself. Katrantzou showcased possibly the widest and most diverse range of prints and patterns and beautifully if i might add without sacrificing the cohesiveness of her collection. Enjoy!

  5. These are outstanding collections! I am glad you merged both shows. I learned of a couple new lines here and am so glad. I also am crazy about Mary Katankrou ( sp?). I agree many trends continued from last winter, but the longer hemlines in many, seem to males these gems more fluid!
