Canadian born designer Thomas Tait emerged as the winner of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) Young Fashion Designer Price. Tait who also happens to be a graduate of the MA womenswear program at Central Saint Martins successfully beat out 11 other designers including British designer Simon Rocha for the coveted LVMH price. The price for the winner is a £300,000 investment into his eponymous fashion label and a year long internship with one of the more established and successful designers. Here are a number of my favorite pieces from his Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 collection, I particulalry love his coats and jackets. What do you think?
Thank you all for stopping by...xxx
His use of primary colors in a geometric way reminds me a lot of Mondrian...very artsy cool but definitely something I could NEVER pull off! I appreciate the artistry tho...
