London Fashion Week: Antonio Berardi

The Antonio Berardi catwalk show was one of the most eclectic collections from London Fashion Week.  The designer was able to effect an almost extravagant elegance with his wonderful abstract  and floral prints as well as his detailed embellishments.  I particulalry liked the subtle eastern influence in the cuts and prints of some of the pieces from the collection. Berardi's SS15 collection was anything but boring showcasing a wide spectrum of colours from navy blue to blush, the designer proved himself a true artisan of the craft showing an impressive variation not only in inspiration but in aesthetic. He presented a collection that ranged from tailored suits and trousers to flirty, feminine midi skirts and frocks in a variety of prints and colours and managed to maintain a story line and cohesiveness throughout the entire collection.
