Walk In The Park

Hello everyone! It been a rather lovely and warm weekend, so i decided to seize this opportunity to take a stroll in the park with C and of course take some pictures. When i purchased these camo pants the first thing on my mind was to wear it in a way that i hadn't seen done before or at least wasn't too predictable and this neon draped top that I've had for almost a year now seemed like the perfect idea. It gives the look quite a splash of color and keeps it summery and playful which was precisely the idea. The black block heeled sandals with small metallic panels was a nice compliment to the outfit with the added advantage of not  taking the attention away from the neon draped top or the camo pants....xxx

Leather Mini and Metallic Zipper

Hello everyone, I purchased this leather mini earlier this year but courtesy of the weather its been sitting in my wardrobe so i decided to pair it with my green jumper and red courts to brighten the palette. I love the metallic zipper detail across the skirt, it gives it a lot  more character.

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2013

Hello everyone, so the Cannes film festival which is arguably the biggest annual film festival, began on the 15th of may and will run through the 26th of may. Cannes film festival  is the best annual exhibition of haute couture as well as ready to wear high fashion numbers second only to the MET gala. So far so good, here is a round-up of some of my favorite outfits from the Cannes film festival.

GUCCI CAMPAIGN

It's always a pleasure to witness some of  our favorite fashion brands,designers and Fashionistas use fashion as a platform to make a positive impact in the world and today,High Fashion brand Gucci has launched a campaign aimed at empowering girls and women everywhere named CHIME FOR CHANGE.

 A video was released with everyone from Salma Hayek, Beyonce Knowles, John legend to Gwyneth Paltrow talking about the females they feel inspired by  from their daughters, to mothers, sisters and many other inspiring women. The campaign is aimed at challenging females everywhere and  a concert titled the Sound of Change Live Concert will be held on the 1st of June at the Twickenham stadium London . Beyonce Knowles-cater who will be Headlining the concert with a 45 minutes special peformance  said; 

"Our goal is to call for change for girls and women in the loudest voice possible, I am excited for us to come together on June 1st to bring the issues of Education, Health and Justice for girls and women to the world stage."

You can all join in by going to the  the CHIME FOR CHANGE Facebook page and posting photos of the women who inspire you. 

There will also be peformances from Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, HAIM, Iggy Azalea, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Laura Pausini, Rita Ora, Timbaland and more at the sound of change live concert.

Indoor Shoot: Orange and Leather Panels.

Hello everyone! So it started raining right before we stepped out to shoot so we had to improvise indoors. Today's outfit was all about black panels and spring oriented colors. It was a nice way to brave the slightly chilly weather today pairing bright colors with warm pieces. Like i said in my post on spring trends, orange is one of my favorite colors/trends this spring, so being able to pair this orange dress with black panels with this lovely blue jacket with leather panels was really nice as i'm always thrilled at the prospects of being able to slip leather ad black into any mix.
