MEZZANINE

Good evening everyone, for the past couple weeks, I've been searching online for potential appartments styles and i have viewed a significant number of studio appartments and realized that some of my favorite studio designs featured mezzanines. This realization inspired the decision to dedicate this next post on interior design to mezzanines. For those of you who don't know, a mezzanine is a floor inbetween the main floors of a building, which more often than not, houses the bedroom and on ocassion the dinning area or other parts of the appartment. Mezzanines are most commonly featured in studio and loft appartments and is a contemporary, open plan design style that aslo happens to be great for maximizing space in a very stylish manner. Mezzanines also have the added advantage of creating an illusion of privacy (akin to that of one bedroom appartments) in studio appartments largely, because of  it's demarcation of the bedroom from other parts of the appartment. Below is a selection of some of my favorite Lofts and studio appartments that feature mezzanines.
