#TBT - 90'S RETRO

Hi guys! So oversized blazers and silhouettes this Fashion Season are all the rave and quite frankly they've been on trend for a few years now. Choosing to have a little fun with this trend, I decided to throw it all the way back to my birth era ( hey what can I say? forever a 90's baby!) and what do you know, It's throwback Thursday after all. Wearing my loyalty, I'm repping my friend's concierge company Koshila Concierge with their brand T-shirt; Add on a few modern twists like some contemporary architecture and bright orange lips and Voila! You have you the perfect retro 90's look.

WARBY PARKER : GEEK IS THE NEW CHIC

Warby Parker is an innovative eyewear design brand with products ranging from very chic optical
glasses to super cool sunnies! Their winter 2014 collection which became available online on the 4th, is very slick and chic. The blend of dark rich colours like dark browns and sleek metallics, is showcased in a variety of shapes and styles from square shaped tortoise shell sunnies, to stylish round metallic sunglasses. The winter collection has a resort ready feel to it and I love that! Here are some of my favorite sunnies from the Warby Parker Winter 2014 collection . The collection is fun and sophisticated with a hint of glam and hey! what more can you ask for in a pair of sunshades?!

LEOPARD PRINT AND LEATHER SHORTS

I did a test shoot a couple days ago, with a new photographer and I decided to do something different with today's post and share just one picture from the shoot . I styled a leopard print kimono, handpicked from a stockists private collection and my River Island leather shorts. Leopard print and leather pieces are two of my biggest obsessions, so it was fun for me pairing these two pieces together, especially because kimono's are huge this fashion season and this time of year. Leather shorts on the other hand are one of the few leather styles that allow me chanel my leather obsession, in a 20 + degree celsius weather. I also decided to put together a look on polyvore directly inspired by my look from the shoot.

KENDRA THORNTON CHALLENGE

Good evening everyone! This post is my entry for the Kendra Thornton Miami fashion challenge. The Kendra Thornton Miami fashion challenge is about creating a number of looks, for the famed and successful travel expert Kendra Thornton for a special Miami vacation with her husband. This vacation to Miami was planned entirely on the popular travel website Gogobot. I created 4 looks in total, each for a different occassions.

The first look is a day look that could work for a lunch and brunch date, the 2nd a beach look, inspired by a woman at a drink shack on the beach sipping on cocktails. The third look is the ideal dinner look, and i wanted a very sophisticated but youthful look so I went for that short Matthew Williamson dress in a very soft palette in keeping with the spring/summer season and for some of that fun and exuberant vibe Miami is oh so famous for.The fourth and final look is your uber casual pool side look for your fashion forward and trend conscious woman, partly inspired by Lily Van der Woodsen and topped up with the perfect accessory; a silk hair tie.
